If you already have your Cosmetology License, you're eligible for our crossover program, where you can get your Barber's License in 3 months! If you're at the beginning of your stylist career, we recommend our traditional Barber Program for 10 months, where you'll also earn your Cosmetology/Hairstyling License.

Our Barber Crossover Program is designed specifically for hair care specialists who have previously earned their cosmetology license; you get your barbering license and master male hairstyles in nearly a third of the time.

We are passionate about nurturing interest in the beauty industry and have open enrollment year-round for young men and women. Our Traditional Barber Program gives you all the tools and knowledge needed to excel at the state licensing exam, with small group classes and one-on-one training.

Basic & Advanced Techniques

Both our barber programs feature extensive knowledge in a variety of men’s grooming and male hairstyling techniques. Classes are flexible to accommodate student schedules and include a detailed overview of hair and scalp treatment, shaving, haircutting, hair coloring and safe work practices. DBA will also prepare you to start your own barber business with courses on legal aspects, management and salesmanship.
